Attempt at Vector
So I’ve been doing raster design for the web for going on 8 years now. The reason I’ve never ventured into other areas is that I am a creature of habit, and rarely am able to escape from my bubble of safety.
Well my new job requires me to do things that I honestly thought I’d never do, vector illustrations being one. I touched Illustrator for the first time a couple of months ago, and just before Christmas I made my first vector illustration. Thought I’d share it.
This is an illustration of my monitor, which is hooked up to a PC (nope, I haven’t switched to Mac yet!). It’s very basic, but I think it’s a good start. Hopefully I can develop this skill into a client service.
It’s always fun to learn new things, no?
